We then partied till the wee hours in the morning downstairs on the dance floor and on the patio. It was the perfect mingling place - everyone got to know each other! I will never forget our first dance with all our guest watching from around the dance floor and up the staircase .... our wedding was described as comfortable and fun, yet so elegant. Ange Kanavas, and the entire staff at La Maquette, are to be congratulated for their impecable service, taking care of all the details and showing flexibility to ensure our day was exactly what we wanted! As I service the majority of the top restaurants in the city I have to tell you I was more than just a little impressed by the outstanding job you did!
I have 25 years in the hospitality business and am keening aware of the logistics involved in serving a group as large as last Saturday.
Absolutely the best food I have ever had at a Wedding, surpassing even our own where we controlled the numbers at 60 to enable us to have the best food possible.
You can be sure I will pass the good word to those I know looking for a wedding venue.
