We just wanted to say THANK-YOU THANK-YOU THANK-YOU to you and Khan and the rest of the service staff at La Maquette for helping us make our dreams come true on our wedding day. As cliche as it sounds, it really was the best day of our lives and we couldn't have done it without you and the La Maquette staff. The setting was beautiful and elegant and everything went off without a hitch (when the church bells across the street finally stopped - hahaha!) The food was amazing (we had a LOT of comments from guests about how good the food was) and the service staff were all so attentive and helpful. We especially loved the bartender who also turned out to not only be a skilled bartender, but a talented singer and dancer!!

Thank-you for a perfect evening! We will be back on our one year anniversary, if not several times before then.

I have been to La Maquette on three occasions in the last month. Many years ago I had been introduced to the restaurant and then too found it a very pleasent experience. But is the patio next to the sculpture garden that has really won my heart. It is so calm and relaxing with a very European flavour. I have each time brought someone new with me. But I must not forget the food which is always delicious. My favourite is the flash fried brie which I can't wait to taste again.
As we live in Etobicoke, we can't easily just pop in but now that TIFF has moved to King Street you will see us more often.

I want to report that the 2010 Halton Memorial Golf Tournament was most successful. In particular, our dinner at La Maquette Monday evening was superb - great food, service and ambiance.
